French Beans with Crispy Bacon

Ingredients

French beans
14 OZ
Butter
3.5 OZ
Water
10.5 OZ
Garlic
1 Clove
Onion
3.5 OZ
Bacon
5.25 OZ
Salt
1 TSP
Pepper
1 TSP

Directions

  1. Wash and trim French beans. Add water to the mixing bowl. 
  2. Place French beans into the shallow steaming tray and attach steamer to the mixing bowl. 
  3. Steam the beans for 15 minutes using the steaming button. 
  4. Rinse the beans with cold water and keep them in ice water. 
  5. Peel and halve garlic and onion and add to the mixing bowl. 
  6. Chop for 5 seconds / speed 5. Use spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl. 
  7. Cut the bacon into strips and add to the mixing bowl. 
  8. Remove the measuring cup and sauté for 6 minutes using the Sauté function. 
  9. Add steamed French beans to the mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper. 
  10. Sauté for 5 minutes using the Sauté function.
